Quigg still without an opponent

I'm starting to think that Hearn does not qant Quigg to fight any top 122. He might just want to milk his title against lesser oposition

 

Hearn is in a mess no doubt. from the moment Barry took Carl off to BN I believe Eddie thought Barry would fall flat on his face and have to come crawling back with his tail between his legs when the his deal ended...I think he said as much that at the time that he didn't think Barry was a promoter...and TBH I myself had doubts that the move to BN and a title shot would happen but Barry has proven himself big time.

Two sell out shows in Ireland (the first one in particular was a great show) and now hes secured the Martinez fight at home - Barry has delivered big time.

He clearly didnt believe that Barry was going to be able to secure Martinez- I remember that smug interview he did with his dad and Quigg claiming that it wasn't going to happen....what a tit Barry has made him look.

To be fair, a homeless man could promote Frampton. Not difficult at all.

 

As for Quiggs September fight - for me the following would be relatively acceptable seeing as its not going to be one of the big boys:

vic Darchiyan ( not sure what weight he's currently at though) Chris Avolos

I actually predicted this months ago he was goijg to milk his paper title against poor opposition until frampton became available

Unfortunately with frampton soon to have a title and a huge fan base, he actually doesn't need quigg at all, Eddie was saying the fight would be in Manchester ,why in gods name would it be in Manchester rather than Belfast . Also seen as quigg has no bargaining power his supposed big money fight could see him earn very little and Definetly less what kilo earned

And if Hearn wants to get frampton on sky he will have to suffer a huge loss becuase of framptons earning power and fact that I doubt he would play by his rules

 

The reality is Barry McGuigan has made Eddie look a right knob, the smugness of the interview were he was telling everyone Barry was going nowhere and not a chance Frampton would get Kiko, " we will probably fight Kiko or LSC" guess what Frampton got a world title fight in his back yard against a man he knows he can beat, Meanwhile Quigg was downgraded to the undercard last time out, no big fight lined up LSC all a pipe dream at this stage, LSC has indicated he wants Frampton vs Kiko winner. If i was Frampton i'd go beat Kiko then do everything to get LSC, imagine if Frampton held 2 belts and Rigo the other 2, He'd leave Quigg with literally zero options bar Rigondeaux or moving up in weight, Smug Eddie and his dad thought they were the dogs bollox with Sky backing, Their holding on for a potential Frampton fight, Scott Quigg drew with a guy KO'd by a journeyman if you can't see that Frampton is a far superior fighter your blind.

 

Don't talk rubbish mate...Hearn has delivered big time for Quigg..In case you didn't know Scott is the reigning WBA World ''I got my belt from a cornflakes box'' Champion. He delivered his shot on home soil By backing Scott by paying out to bring the formidable Salinas over to give Scott the best possible chance of winning..what more do you want?? You really do come across as bitter with stuff like this, what is it with Hearn and title shots you really dont like? We went through this before and theres only really Andrade he could have brought over?

This is aside from Quigg who as many of agree, Hearn is failing.

 

What happened to the LSC idea? His down on boxrec to fight in September in America ... They should of got this made. Do they plan on having Quigg to headline in Manchester?

 

I'm only referring to the Quigg situation - I'm not going on about title shots in general and in regards to those I look at things case by case for example I have no problem with Rees going over for Broner as Adrian/us tv etc would never come here for obvious reasons whereas I do have a problem with Hearn not having a go at either a cash offer or mandatory bid to try to bring Andrade over to give Rose a chance..remembering Andrade is not involved with the likes of Al Haymon is promoted by Artie Pululu & star boxing who are relatively

As for the Quigg situation-after the Hearns tried to take a crap on Barry Mcguigan and question his ability to promote I am happy to admit that I am finding it hillarious that he's made a fool out of them.
