That really did rival some of the long-form IB whoppers, tbf.

Quigg's accuracy or lack of it cost him the fight.

I knew he could take Valdez shots but i didn't expect him to miss so many shots even when Valdez was hurt.

I agree. Quigg can't cut his man off at all so he's not often in position to
capitalize on mistakes, which the flailing Valdez was making a lot of. Framps
    and LSC both beat him

He didn't jab his way in. Wish he had a jab to set up his punches.
Because he throws looping shots all the time. A double OR tripple jab AND nice 1, 2 would have been enough then mix it up with those thudding hooks.

I am sure Roach would have been screaming at him to double up the jab. But Quigg didn't do it!

Valdez is a true warrior. Quigg was a lot bigger and brought everything but the kitchen sink and Valdez handled it gave back as good and better than he got. Great fight.

I really switched to Quigg just because he came in overweight for the fight.

So it looks like Oscar Valdez fought 9 rounds with a broken jaw and won the fight in the end!

That's a big heart, for sure.

It’s incredible how many there are like this who can’t punch straight

There is no excuse for Quigg not making weight!

I had it the same as the judges. I rate Valdez he reminds me of Erik Morales sometimes. Great fight and poor Quigg looked like a Kling-on at the end lol

3-0 Valdez. Looks like Quigg is landing some low.

Quigg starts the round good, but gets outworked over the second half.

    4-0

Missing weight by three pounds was a ***** move by Quigg.

4-1. Quigg landed some good flush power shots, smacking Valdez around with those Welterweight punches. Valdez looked hurt at one point.
