  2. Blame the WBC for the belt being on the line, not the fighter with the bargaining power.

Maywether and Hopkins have nothing to do with my points. I answered the problems you had. If you want to cry, I don't care to listen. I couldn't even read your post. It stunk of dried tears covered with fresh tears.

  4. I don't think Margo is gonna be all that drained for this, k... the guy spent the last 8 years making 147, not looking drained at all.

  5. ohmygosh really? Fine hey fine... but that smell you are talking about is really just your upper lip after it touched your own ass, cause I ain't crying.

    lolwut?

This fight won't be draining to Margarito. He's fought as a welter for most of his career and at JrMW a few times so putting him in between would probably serve to his advantage. Pac won't be weighing in at the full 150, he never does weigh at the full contracted weight. He eats to 146 as is.

If both boxers agree on the weight then there is no complaint. The same **** your pulling about "catch weight" can be said about coming in at the limit for a weight class.

    1. A fighter uses financial leverage to get a smaller fighter to bloat up to his weight. Then doesn't even bother to make it and comes in heavier and bigger then the smaller bloated guy. With a slap on the wrist for doing it.

    2. So weight means nothing if the person isn't going to abide by it and come in heavier.

    3. So many great boxers have fought at catch weight. If both boxers agree to it then there is no problem.

  9. HEY someone with some ****in sense in his head! WOOOOOOOO

    Seriouslyseriously
Margarito may be shot to ****, disgraced, devalued, a bull**** fight for Pacquiao, yes all of that... But quityerbitching about the contracted weight, Margs will make it easily, he's been doing it almost his entire career. And he'll still come into the ring on fight night a technical super-middleweight against a guy who once won a 112 lb title!

  10. BLAME. Ok is it really Pacquiao's fault the WBC wants him to fight for the 154 title? If you are Pacquiao are you really weighing catch-weight morals against a free belt? All he's gotta do is his job... this **** is just paper-work.

Call me a *******, thats fine, I see thats where this is going... But you really aren't making any sense, when I am.

The WBC is the same group that told Holyfield's manager that they would sanction a title fight between Evander and V.Klitschko. There's no ****ing doubt that they have no integrity and just love having big names wear their hardware. It wouldn't surprise me if Bob got ahold of jose and asked him to put a belt up.

I believe that if you fight for a title, there should not be any limit as to how much you weigh for the match, as long as you do not weigh above the limit for that specific title. So, in my view, if one fighter wants to weigh a certain amount, the other fighter should not have to forced to fight at that same weight. For example: if the title is the welterweight title and fighter A wishes to come in at 144, fighter B should not have to be forced to come in at the same weight. If Fighter B wishes to fight at 147, he should, since that is the allowed maximum weight for that division.

Catch weights are ok, but for a title, that stipulation should be thrown out.

You don't understand. First of all, let me say I'm a Boxing fan before being a fan of boxers. I'll pretty much watch any fight involving big names. The problem I have with catchweight fights lies in the fact that an individual calls himself a champion of a particular weight division when in reality he didn't actually fight in that class. If you can get someone to agree to weight drain himself and you end up defeating him, fine. You may have your bragging rights for beating him. But don't walk around like you're one of the biggest and baddest in his weight class. All you did was sucker him into a handicap match by offering a ton of money.

  14. OK we may just have different opinions about this and I respect that.

The problem is that your opinion involves changing the rules that were established 100 years ago regarding weight limits. 150 pounds is still a junior middleweight, sorry.

ALSO, its a catchweight because Margarito is a big huge guy who's natural fighting weight is already around 150 pounds and Pacman will prolly still come in at 145 on fight night!! Either way, Manny will be giving up A LOT of weight.

I have no problem with ordinary catch weight fights. When there is a world title on the line I do not think the sanctioning bodies should sanction catchweight fights.
