This seems to be a likely future match up should Bruce Carrington get a title shot against a champion. Do you think Shu Shu has a decent chance against a physical freak like Espinoza?
Espinoza breaks him down with his volume. Haven’t bought into the hype yet with Shu Shu, just don’t see it personally.
I think this would be a good fight. Shu Shu looks to have the calm and discipline to withstand an assault, how often remains to be seen. Espinoza seems quite easy to hit on the other hand, and Shu Shu is a sharp shooter. It will come down to whether Shu Shu can hurt him, if not then its going to be a long night for him. I rate Robeisy high, the fact that Espinoza beat him and showed true grit in that fight makes me think that Shu Shu will be in for a shock. Like being introduced to a new level that he isn’t ready for or maybe himself will never reach. We shall see
It’s mad Shu Shu STILL hasn’t stepped up in comp or had a title shot since this thread got made. Also I thought Segawa beat Shu Shu. He might have a few good rounds against Espinoza but eventually the pressure will break him.
They gotta make this fight happen this year now that they're both title holders. Especially while they’re still in their primes. That’s an exciting match up that can potentially turn into a firefight and end by knockout. Make it happen Turki.
We've got four belt holders at 126 and not one unification is scheduled. Fair enough, Carrington just got his strap. Ball fighting Figueroa, whilst it might be fun, wasn't asked for...or deserved. Espinoza vs. Leo should be announced tomorrow. Seems like they're all just using their straps as Monster bait. Meanwhile, Inoue will be taking a real risk against Nakatani.
Carrington really impressed me with the way he handled and stopped Castro. Espinoza is a different beast though, his size and range would be a problem for Shu Shu who would have to take a dangerous risk to get on the inside to land his big shots. It's an intriguing fight but I'd favor Espinoza in this one.
Don't forget Dayan Gonzalez, Luis Nery, Angelo Leo, Sam Goodman, Elijah Pierce, Kyonosuke Kameda, Ra'eese Aleem I think it's the second tier of the category with Robeisy Ramirez and Bruce Carrington.
