Deadly, Rafael showed he still had loads left in the Juanma fight, if he cant get that rematch this would be a good fight.

People mooting it as a good co-header for Chavez v Zbik.

Screw that lets have this as a main event on its own and in Mexico.

It deserves top billing but the sad fact is that it will get more exposure paired with Chavez-Zbik (even in Mexico). :verysad

Agreed. It was realism that I did not wish to be a part of. I envisaged Rafa v Jhonny at the Azteca.

Would've made a nice honeymoon for me too.

    Hohum

I like Marquez and wouldn't begrudge him a win here at all, but if Jhonny took it...

Just think of what a miraculous Cinderella run that would constitute.

He was effectively written off by some of the more alarmist fans after each of his last three losses but kept clawing his way back...and in this last stretch will have overcome the odds three times in as many big dances.

He might not have been an outright underdog against Asiku, but he was considered very evenly matched with him. Many counted him out there and were surprised at the result...

Against Hasegawa, it goes without saying he was "supposed" to lose.

Even though RM is past his best he will most likely still be the betting favorite here...
