i read those post. rahman is older and him maybe getting into a lower weight just isnt gonna happen. im 22 and use to be 125 in HS. now im 165. there is no way in hell i can ever cut 40 pounds now. i think the same thing is for rahman.

i dont know if he is rahmans conditioner trainer or what but i think he had a valid point

it's a bit different. between 17 and 22, you're gonna gain weight because you're naturally growing and often significantly. it's harder to lose weight at 35 than at 25, but it ain't that hard. anybody who is 35 and consistently working at it can easily do it.

but what im saying is when you get older you will put on more weight correct? rahman has always been a big man. i read when he first came into the gym young he was in the high 200's. obviously training he cut down a lot. what im saying is hes 36 almost now and when he last was in the 22's was in 2002 against holy. thats 6 years ago. ruiz used to fight in the 220's a lot 6-7 years ago now he stays around 240 and hes always in the gym. i think rahman is just losing the ability to shed weight with training like he used to due to being older

What channel is FSN on Dish Net? That is where that fight will be shown. I think Tony will beat Rahman since his weight is not too bad, looks to be in good shape for this fight. It's a shame he was not in good shape for the 2nd Peter fight, he would have won.

reading the last page was awful. Not every fighter is going to have the same build. Conditioner101 knows his fighter better than you do.

Thank you. I appreciate the support. Rock is in shape and well prepared. He trained hard, and the weight that came off him was body fat. Yes he is heavier but I am quite sure is body mass index is better then it was when he was at a lighter weight. BMI is much more indicative of your training results than the scale is. Case in point James Toney. He is lighter, but he looks like a person that crash dieted his weight off. His skin looked loose which is a result of drastic weight loss through loss of muscle. I am fairly certain Toneys main focus was weight loss. Where as Rock came into camp in decent shape and we focussed our training on preparing him for a fight. The by product being a gradually, steady, and HEALTHY weight loss.
