Rahman is much less shot than Toney is and like Zakman said, Toney probably wouldn't be able to crack his weak chin. At this point, Toney isn't outworking anybody.. he's like Shannon Briggs without the power. Rahman clear UD.
Agreed. Rahman still has power since it's one of the last traits to go in an aging fighter & he he the proper technique to land on Toney who is too immobile in his old age.
Slight edge to Toney. I know the June fight with Batchelder was a long time ago and against a journeyman, but James was looking good. 'Course, he was roiding, too.
Rahman deserved the verdict in their first encounter. In another fight, it would play out the same. Rahman would outwork Toney while Toney would throw much less, but land the cleaner shots. Toney is completely done at this point though and Rahman, as little as it may be, still has a tiny bit left to offer. His punch output would win him the fight.
