Wilder probably gets outboxed almost all rounds until he lands a big right hand that hurts or ko Usyk.
Wilder has that game changing power to beat anyone. So it's not that far out there to think he could get a win. Usyk doesn't have the mass to use a Fury game-plan of pushing Wilder back. Heck, even with that plan, Fury was a few seconds away from losing in two of his three matches with Wilder. Usyk is really good though. If Old Man Ortiz was able to avoid the right hand for 7 rounds, Usyk could probably do it for 12. So, I guess I'd pick Usyk, but a prediction for Wilder is perfectly reasonable.
It comes back to Wilders quote: "I always say, these guys have to be perfect for 12 rounds, I only need to be perfect for two seconds, and then in the blink of an eye it’s bam baby, goodnight!” If Usyk is alert for each second of each round he has the beating of Wilder, however anyone writing Wilders chances off is ill advised, Wilder is unconventional in throwing his punches so "Murphys law of warfare" applies for an opponent facing him: It's not the one with your name on it; it's the one addressed "to whom it may concern" you've got to think about..
I'd quite confidently pick Usyk, i don't think Wilder hits significantly harder than Joshua and he couldn't dent Usyk.
Wilder & AJ have different types of power, Wilder is impossibly quick when he times his right hand. You can't avoid it and you likely won't see it. It comes from halfway across the ring. He's probably the most explosive puncher of all time. Usyk cannot get hit by it, he knows how to position himself to do so but over 35 minutes....one misstep.
Only this is not true. Wilder was "perfect" for two seconds in the first fight against Fury. Fury got up. Wilder was "perfect" for two seconds TWICE in the third fight against Fury and Fury got up twice. Wilder couldnt knock out Stiverne and now he's going to knock out Usyk? The same Wikder was out boxed by a forty year old Ortiz? Usyk isn't going to run out of gas like Ortiz and Wilders overall punch resistance is now lesser due to his beatings at Furys hands. Usyk wins this.
AJ's stopped or KO'd everybody he's fought except Parker, Ruiz and Usyk and their all better than anybody Wilder's beat. Face it your just a Josua hater and a lover of domestic abuser Wilder.
I was rooting for AJ in 2012 Olympics and guess what I saw? A golden goose getting gifts from corruption and bribery...and I was sick to my stomach. The big bodybuilding dosser.
Usyk would tear Wilder up. He could do it any way he liked, as well, by leading, boxing from the outside, or being content with countering from mid-range. Wilder is just too sloppy. And we must not forget that Wilder is older and less confident now.
Usyk circles away from the right hand and Wilder has no plan B. Usyk humiliates him to a wide UD or stoppage.
