The thought of Brock with that belt wrapped around his waist, with his hand raised and Buffer announcing him as the UFC Heayweight Champion of the world disturbs and disgusts me. I so hope Randy can beat this meathead......I don't know though......I got a bad feeling about this.

In my mind if he goes in there and win, that is absolute proof he deserved the shot.

Did it make you guys sick when BJ Penn got his title shot based on his sport grappling background and 3 MMA fights?

I'm taking Brock on this, I don't know how Randy can contain the freight train, it will take a bag of tricks for sure.

No. Brock is a legitimate athlete and his win over Herring should have earned him a top ten ranking. No doubt there are guys more deserving - but Brock Lesnar sells tickets. It's an intriguing match to say the least.

Far fetched. Simply terrible example. If you don't know why then it's just disappointing...

I'm not a big fan of Lesnar but I agree. Hell, even if he loses but makes a really good showing that is proof to me that he deserved a shot.

Hell, Randy got his first shot after only having 3 mma fights. Sure, times were a bit different back then, but Brock presents huge challenges to any HW.

I am going a bit overboard by saying this, but the UFC and MMA in general needs to be about having the best fighter getting the shot. Earning a shot the legitimate way (winning fights in the org) is FANTASTIC but the UFC shouldn't stand in the way of a legitimate contender getting a shot at the title because his "record isn't good enough".

If records counted for everything, Randy didn't deserve a shot at Sylvia. No need to pad records when there is obviously a legitimate challenge to be made. MMA isn't boxing.

Frank Mir deserves it more this is a guy who beat Brock and never had a chance to defend his UFC Championship when he got injured. What about Nogueira ? Hes being called Champ for the last 8 months now all of a sudden hes forgot about because of the big bucks fight.

But Van Arsdale isn't Barnett...nor ricco (prime ricco of course)...Or Randleman (who was also dominating couture but ended up losing because of his poor stamina)... Couture also hs credentials yes...but that's irrelevant...Because we know how he fares against bigger , stronger wrestlers...(randleman was the exception , but he's strong as hell)...

So , we'll have to wait and see. Right now...Brock has a legit chance to pull it off...but so does couture.

Nog was and still is the interim champion, Frank Mir is getting a shot at that title, which if he wins, gets him a shot at unifying the belts.

Big fan of the Natural, but Lesnar is improving every time he fights!!, he's got crazy strength and might be able to lie on randy for the whole fight
