He's not perfect, but I had to give hin 10 because he's the most skilled fighter of my era, on possibly ever. By that I don't mean he is unbeatable... He's just got amazing skills

He is certainly a 9 in my book.

Floyd outpoints Ortiz and then blows up Khan in the next year. :deal

    9. He's very good, but I'd give a 10 to a guy like Joe Louis or Ricardo Lopez

my beefs with Floyd are as followed:
He leans forward a bit too much when throwing his right
He throws his left hook like a slap and doesn't bring his elbow up
He doesn't rotate his feet into his punches (but he does get enough power from the rest of his body)
Moves in straight lines a little much nowadays
Bends at the waist and not knees

but despite all those nitpicking faults. He's still the best in the game today

    Can't honestly see anything below a 9... I'd say 9.5

From a technical stand point, Floyd is a 9.9. His flaw is while he does have a great chin, he does get with bombs from distance. He parrys with it, or takes the brunt of the blunt force shot off at the last second even when he's hit, but he's been stunned. Having amazing recuperative powers helps, but he does get his chin checked from time to time.

I'd say a 9 - the guy has ridiculous skills.

    Who would be a 10?

Hands up those that would have liked to judge his skills against the best fighters of his era when they were in peak form. Jr " Get me Corrales he is on his way to jail. He will be mentally drained". "Margarito you will get your turn ". Blah Blah Blah .He should have taken the tough fights,How else can you judge his skills?
