Klompton is very knowledgeable on certain eras, but can be too dismissive of any dissent. I think he did let himself down with that comment but I've said worse to Mendoza and no doubt will again.
Absolutely not. A couple of those guys are just names to me. Others I might only have seen one fight of theirs. Robinson, Walker, Charles, Moore are top ten ATGs. Garcia I only recognize from his fighting Armstrong. Turpin I've only seen his matches with Robinson. Freddie Steele looks great but there is almost no footage of him. Graziano and Zale I mostly know from them fighting each other and Graziano's fight with Robinson. My sample of data is too limited to draw clear conclusions and comparisons. If I were to offer an opinion it would be no more than a stab in the dark and largely conjecture at this point.
This is just true, you could maybe have say three tiers but even then too much guessing needed, you have made a good list but Dave Sands should be in there instead of Walker who was from the 20's and therefore not in this era but if he was I'd have him very high
Well I find that so far I like both you and Mendoza, he seems a nice bloke. As For Klompton, he clearly will never apologize and clearly hates my guts even after I gave him condolences about his dad and revealed my own fight with cancer he replies to me with that porn comment, if he said that to my face I wouldn't feel responsibilty for my actions.
