Here is why: He is a wrestler who can CRACK. My fave type of fighter to watch. Hendo is a bit past it. Evans isnt as good but hes still elite in that style. He doesn't cut weight. He's actually funny and Rampage is a moron. Why doesn't anyone realize this? Feel free to list reasons why Rashad Evans is awesome.
Not a big fan he trys to hard to be funny but IMO comes off more as creepy. It pisses alot of people off that he got a Blackbelt without ever training with a GI. I wasnt even allowed to get a ****ing Bluebelt until I started training with one. For a guy whos only knocked 1 man out with his hands people act like hes some world class striker. Wagging his hands back and forth and just waiting for a counter im sorry but I find it boring.
He just seems very unrefined as a fighter.. Striking, well he has his own version of sloppy. Maybe, he's kind of like Jardine with an oddball style.. His movements, are like very wasteful. Sometimes I think he's going to start mixing rerun moves in with his ****wit head movement. I somewhat like his personality, and I know I'm really hard on him.. He just strikes me as the guy who goes out to win, no matter how ugly it is.. Where I'm a fan of guys who go out there to fight.. Might be more to him that I just cant see.. I just have a hard time considering him a refined fighter. He's like the mma version of this guy This content is protected
bisping nearly beat him! evans was wasted at the end of that fight if it had of been a 5 rounder bisping would have stopped him! he spankef lidell but so does everyone nowadays,he was awful on TUF and that bouncing and wagging his hands around is annoying! sugar my arse!
If you like that type of fighter like that...you should be a fan of Ryan Bader. Now that's a wrestler who CAN crack
But Bader is agressive and scores KOs. Rashad KOed Liddell with one punch and he dropped Brad Imes hes never did anything else with his hands that I think of.
Rashad is a throwback, fighting bigger guys virtually every time, not cutting 20lbs to fight the smallest guys possible...dominating the 6'11 Griffin, who walks around at 320lbs.
I'm almost always never impressed with Rashad but he somehow manages to find a way to win. P.S. How 'bout that Nick Diaz???
I don't really care for Rashad fighting, but after seeing a few episodes of him and Rampage on TUF, I like him personally. Rampage is a total penishead and is one of the least funny guys I have ever seen. He reminds me of a guy who tries WAY TOO hard to be liked. Rashad is just himself and its more genuine. Not really a fan of either but I'd take Rashad over Rampage anyday of the week.
