T, I and my dad was at Msg during a War Bond drive to see Beau Jack fight Bob Montgomery in 1944. It was a sensational15 round bout and it was not filmed...Beau and Montomery fought three epic fights, and NOT one can be seen on film today...What a shame !

So is there any film of him other than that one Ike Williams fight?

On a side note, I just love when Ring Magazine's fights of the year are something I can never see. Put these right alongside Greb-Tunney and Greb-Walker. I really wish they'd have runners up for that reason.

    It boggles the imagination today...
Beau Jack who sold out MSG 7 times in ONE year, and the greatest action fighter of an action packed 1940s, is not seen on film except after his peak with Ike Williams in Philly in 1948. I as a youngster travelled by bus to Philly and saw Beau Jack almost hospitalized by the brutal beating Williams and the ref gave him... You want to know how tough a schedule Beau Jack fought ? Just imagine a Mayweather fighting Fritzie Zivic [a WW]twice and Bob Montgomery twice inside of 6 months or so ,ALONG with
HENRY ARMSTRONG sandwiched in between ?...And NO FILM...
