Jones habit of laying on the ropes only cost him in his later years after his reflexes diminished .As good as Joe was a young Jones would have been to much for him .Even Calzaghe admitted that ..And as far as Jones overatted power is concerned well he still managed to drop Joe while being shot to bits ..

Oh please that knockdown happened when joe was on the slide and it wasnt even a legal one, it was a clothesline not a punch watch the replay

It cost him greater laying on the ropes in later years yes, but its still a bad habit that could have cost him in the fight, i remember Calzaghe saying he would have to be paid a lot of money to fight jones but he wasnt exactly confident in his early years, Joe should have left Frank ****** and gotten better fights but its all in the past now.

I still see this as a close fight but I really doubt Calzaghe would have been blown out of the water

What is this list based on? Resume? Achievements? Dominance? Longevity?

Yeah i know, 4-8 is really interchangeable....but Roy's career post Tarver leaves amuch to be desired. Plus I just recently watched Mab/Morales at youtube a couple a hours ago...and that swayed my rankings a bit.

Its not fair to punish Jones in the ranks because of his post tarver 2 **** ups.
Had he retired back then he would be a very highly ranked atg with an unbeatable aura way bigger than may today.
Yet now he is put in the middle of some lists because the zombie version keeps getting knocked out.
I dont see people putting Duran at 50 in an atg list because of his losses when he was totally shot.

I separated them into 4's only for readability not tiers. Morales is very close to Floyd in resume really

and if Shane's in the mix i dont see why DLH shouldn't be.
