It was one of the most exciting Wlad's fights in years. He threw a lot like in the old days. Also, he looked like it was easier for him to fight a taller opponent then shorter ones.

Ya, it's a lot easier to punch at your own level than downwards.

He couldn't really have performed much better tonight. He tried to finish Wach at the most logical times, but it just wasn't possible.

I enjoyed the big lead rights and strange repeated straight rights. It almost looked like a double/triple jab from the wrong side at times.

Only thing he could have done more of is some body shots and more uppercuts. 8.5/10 Great jab, combos, aggression, footwork, speed, athleticism, fluid non-robotic movement.

Great jab and very good foot and head movement, for a guy who is not suposed to be nimble. Not the best oppoent. However if he can fight like that against anyone. I don't think anyone would beat him, and I'm talking about the ATG's.

Masterclass boxing from Wlad. Same great offensive powershots that he used to throw against guys like Mercer but now with the fluid defensive skills; lateral and subtle head movement taught to him by the immortal Steward. That Brirtish guy who mocked Wlad's and Steward's friendship and boxing relationship so soon after Manny's death is just a pig.

    4 or 5/10

Fighting an absolute tomato can, like a training session from the 1st round yet he couldn't finish him, also far too much hitting and leaning in, only in one round did he eventually try to end it and that was it.

The opposition was awful remember, Wach is woeful, hadn't seen him before so watched a few vids of him in advance of tonight's fight, what did he do to deserve a fight with the Champion??

He was clueless, the only positive is he has a big solid chin, however his corner should have thrown in the towel when the ref didn't stop the fight.

    It was a mismatch.

LOL @ all the guys giving 9's

Is this what we are meant to be impressed by, a jab & right hand against a slow punchbag?

When Wlad fights and beats the likes of Chisora (whom he ducked and past over to Vitali), Helenius etc and in good fashion, none of this jab, right hand then lean in stuff

Then give him a bit of credit.

A, he did good. And did not run outta gas. Props to Banks. He seems natural in the corner.

Somehow I do not think you will ever give Wlad credit for anything. Wlad has beaten better fighters than Chisora and Helenius many times over.
