    Feather fists?

OK, maybe not the biggest puncher in the world, but he put Trinidad away better than Jones did, and Trinidad was better then than he is now!

Jones WAS a great fighter, but ain't anymore.

    Deal with it.

he never once had tito in trouble, all he did was cover up and jab/cross for 36 minutes

He never looked like taking him down, but dominated from bell to bell!

I think Wright by UD, maybe 117-111.

Winky by UD if they fight today.

If it was back in the day, that would be much different. Roy has an excellent style to trouble Winky, give him angles, the speed, the power, he should be able to pot shot him and keep his distance to an easy and boring UD. Thats prime vs prime.

Today in 2008 things are much different. As long as Winky comes in shape and prepared, his work rate and defense will win him the fight. Roy still has handspeed but thats about all he has left.

Why not another match at 170. That's where Jones last fought at Wright fought Hoppie.

Yeah thats the whole reason people are looking at the fight. They are both at the same weight. Winky coming off a loss is going to have a hard time finding someone to fight him, Roy just beating a name fighter in Tito needs another name fight but not someone "too good". People think its a winnable fight for Roy (while I generally dont) and it is a good name for Winky.

The only thing is I dont know if they would fight or not. They are supposed to be pretty good friends. Sometimes friends dont mind fighting and other times they just wont do it.

I think Wright plans on going back down to 160. He said before he even fought Hopkins that he was not at Super Middle or Lightheavyweight.

I would say Wright probably beats the shot Ray Jones.

However, Ray Jones in his prime was amazing, almost as amazing as Roy Robinson and Billie Pep.
