The reasoning probably has something to do with this:

    Starting at about 1:30

    5:10
    [yt]FEbEIQ6yCm0[/yt]

    1:50

    The entire video

The sport still evolved so much during the 90's, with better training methods, and science being added into the equation, it's hard to say Leanard would beat the creme de la creme of this era, we all saw how dominate fighters of the 80's were getting dominated by b class fighters at best in the 90's

People really don't want to turn this discussion into that, cause we all know Manny would mop the floor with Duran

Leonard was great at everything. Leonard could argue that he's a top 10 P4P great. Those two can't.

Sr didnt give Leonard any problems. It was competitive for about 2 rounds then Leonard beat the dog**** out of him.

Pac and Duran are different fighters. Duran is more of an infighter, and he's naturally bigger. And no I don't think Pac would be an easy fight for Leonard, but Leonard is too big and too good for him to beat.

Hey I have my opinions and yall have yours, I feel Leonard was great, but slightly overated, and also he conveniently cherrypick the right time to go after certain fighters while ducking other big time threats, but I digress..........

Pac would get beaten to a pulp whilst mayweather would pull a clottey for most of the night. Sugar ray was something special, both fighters today who have a claim as p4p would get demolished by Leonard
