  1. the only similar style to tyson who foreman faced in his second career was bert cooper and he got smashed by foreman, bruno was the only big ,strong guy and hard puncher who faced young tyson and bruno did hurt him seriously, but he had no chin, he did not had the class or the heart and he could not finish the job, foreman would do it.

  2. wow
marciano, dempsey? hahahahaa they would be smashed by foreman 91.
bowe? :rofl:rofl:rofl bowe is not even a top 20 hardest punchers?:nut
no fighter in the history would ko old foreman nobody, only maybe a peak louis would tko old foreman.(always if foreman don´t catch him in some point))

Bert Cooper like Tyson, yeah and Sammy Scaff is just like Foreman.

  4. physically he was very similar , still cooper had longer reach. the point is that foreman would handle the 5´11 and the 217 pounds of tyson like a kid. and the short punchers were the bitches of foreman, tyson would not be special because he had no heart and he was not strong mentally, i would be more worried about the 185 pounds of heart of marciano

I think this is a close fight. Holy back in 1990 had yet to convince everyone that he was in fact the real deal and the question marks stayed til the 1st Bowe fight. Of course we all know now hes an ATG but nobody was saying it then. He was still shaping into a heavyweight in 1990 (Douglas stay-down didnt do Holy any favours as far as being able to gauge him) and Ruddock was being fancied to do well in the grand scheme of things. Its tight but i think Razor could well have sneaked a decision here with Holy taking a count at some stage, and at the same time proving he wasnt just a jumped up cruiser trying to compete with the big boys. My two cents

In fairness, Cooper spent the night before the fight with Foreman banging hookers and doing coke supplied by Don King (he really did).

I'm saying hookers with cocaine were at Cooper's hotel, which King booked, looking for him.

Why did Don King book Cooper's hotel ? Was he promoting that fight ?

    What the ****??????????

George Foreman of the 90s would not beat any ATG HW at their peaks.

Foreman was fat, slow and didn't throw many punches in the 90s.

So a fat, slow fighter is gonna beat the '88 Tyson?

    LOL :)

****ing crazy mother****ers the whole lot of you.

If Foreman of the 90s lost to Tommy ****ing Morisson, he's not beating '88 Tyson. Not a chance. No. Just no. Never.

Riddick Bowe would have beaten the 90s Foreman. So would have the ****ing Klitsch-bitches.

Yes so could Sammy Scaff. Theres no comparison to Cooper and Tyson other than they were both short power punchers. Tyson was leagues better than him.

  13. morrison did not fight nothing like tyson, not against foreman, morrison fought like a coward(even being a puncher) because he knew that if he exchange blows with foreman he would get destroyed. sorry but, stupid logic. then i say tyson could not beat a bum like buster douglas or past prime holyfield did beat tyson badly.

and old foreman 91 with more experience, even better chin and more stamina would ko joe frazier, dempsey, jefries, marciano, jonhson, and i think that he would ko tyson too, styles make fights.

I would favor Evander by decision, he would take some good licks but I got a feeling Ruddock is getting dropped from some straight right counters a couple times, trying to bomb his ugly Ruddock Smash from the outside.

and early 90s Foreman/Tyson is a fight people only wish they wanted to see. Once Foreman is stumbling around, bloodied with his eyes closed, swinging at air, they would change their tune.

Was there any serious talk of Tyson-Foreman happening around the '89-90 period?
