Wlad and Vitali KO Ruddock. Vitali bullies him and punishes him over 8-10 rounds.
Wlad boxes circles around him and when he lands a flush hook or straight right it's over, could be anytime from 2-12, would be better for Ruddock if it was early.
Haye likely gets to Ruddocks chin before Razor gets to his. Ruddock's jab wasn't very good and definitely not enough from keeping Haye from ripping off powerful combinations on the inside. I'd say Haye by mid-round KO.

I agree. Ruddock would have knocked out Haye. He was too big, too strong and he threw bombs. Ruddock vs. Wlad would have been a coin toss. Whichever one landed big first would win. A young Vitali would probably win a close decision against Razor.

Haye would try to outbox Ruddock and land something big. He might deck Ruddock, but prime Ruddock would get up and flatten Haye at some stage.

Wlad would try and safely outbox Ruddock. Would he manage to keep Ruddock in a defensive shell for the entire fight? Unlikely. Ruddock would land something at some stage and it's all over for Wlad.

Vitali is capable of taking Ruddock's shots without going down or getting knocked out. He manages to keep Ruddock on the end of his shots for the most part, and survive any moments where Ruddock connects. Vitali stops Ruddock mid to late rounds or wins a clear cut decision.

This might be the scenario for the Ruddock from the Lennox Lewis fight.

But take the Ruddock from the 1st Tyson fight, and it is a different story surely :huh

"XYZ just has to land one single time on Wlad, then it's game over". I've heard this non-sense hundreds of times before. With this argument Wlad would lose to just about ANY mediocre heavyweight - and Ruddock is no more than that - in history.

    It's a bit far fetched isn't it?

Ruddock never was any good i think its hilarious that people make him out to be some monster.. The guy was a hype job who got embarrassed every time he stepped in with a good heavy,

Lennox vs. Ruddock. Ruddock didn't land a SINGLE punch the entire fight. Not one! Ruddock was exposed as nothing more than cannon fodder by Lennox. The fact that Tyson spent 20 rounds wrestling this guy just shows the lack of class of Iron Mike, not the skill of Ruddock.

But this is not the Ruddock from the first Tyson fight!!
Ruddock was a pretty good fighter but was far from something special, I don't know where some of these guys are coming from building him up as if he's Sonny Liston or something.

Yeah its hilarious that some people regard Ruddock so highly. The man never even beat anybody who was any good.

This is the scenario with any Ruddock from any fight. You really think he was that different in that one fight compared to the rest of his career?

  the only half decent heavyweight that Ruddock ever defeated was James "Bonecrusher" Smith, yet he would walk through Wladimir Klitschko...

The problem with Ruddock is that his peak was so short. His two fights with Tyson lead to both of their decline. Yes, Tyson already lost to Buster but Razor nail his coffin before he fought the holyman. I say Ruddock would have beat any heavyweight today at his peak. His closes challenger would the older Kbros in his prime (the one that fought Lennox). i think Ruddock had a chance to beat LL if he fought him before his wars with Tyson . . . even though I think A prime lennox would have won.

Yeah that was Lennox who was three time better than either Kbros. Besides that fight only proved my point that Ruddock and Tyson totally ruined each other. I remember when I first watched that fight Razor looked totally gun shy

Wow look at ruddocks recored afetr he got Ko'd by morrison he went back to fighting bums till he retired.
