KC Prachanda (0-1) [red] v Izumi Tanaka (0-0) [blue] - 4 round bout at 122lbs

Prachanda is a Napelse born fighter who was stopped on his debut, Tanaka will be making his debut, both fighters are 21 years old. Neither man is from a big name gym.

 

1-Poor Prachanda is out of his depth here. Tanaka hurt him a time or two, couldn't drop him but looks likely to in one of the coming rounds. Clear round for Tanaka. 10-9

 

2-Tanaka continues to look like the better fighter and hurts KC about 40 seconds into the round, KC is giving it a good go but he looks second best every time they trade leather. KC slips but Tanaka looks to be breaking him down bit by bit...and a solid straight sends KC down...less than 40 seconds left... KC sees out the round. 20-17 Tanaka

 

3-KC has a nice salvo early in round 3 but Tanaka sees it off and hurt KC, a follow up forces the referee to save the Napalese fighter. I like the look Tanaka

 

Next - Yoshiki Shiina (1-1, 1) v Tomoki Shibanuma (1-2) in a 4 rounder at 108lbs

The 23 year old Shiina is an orthodox fighter Shibanuma is a 30 year old southpaw. Shibanuma is from the same gym as Japanese Flyweight champion Takuya Kogawa, top sparring there!

Round 1-Slow paced round, Shiina looking un easy against a southpaw, Shibanuma making the most of his long left hand. Shiina was tagged but got out of range and got his senses. 10-9 Shibby!

 

Ended up suspended/banned for "racial trolling" ....genuinely can't recall what I said/did (if a mod wants to DM with details on that it would be appreciated)...

 

2-Shiina's confidence building through the round but a late charge by Shibby make it a competitive round over all. Gonna give it to Shiina though, much improved effort. 19-19

 

3-A lot of messy action, Shiina trying to neutralise the southpaw stance by getting ultra-close, Shiina has eaten seveal big shots from Shibby. A right hook robbles Shiina! He slips soon afterwardsa (ruled slip). 29-28 Shibby

 

4-Shiina has seemingly been told he's behind and to go for it, nice counter left by Shibby shakes up his man, Shiina recovers and takes the fight to Shibby! A buit messy at times but Shibby is consistently getting the better of the action. This fight has gotten better as it's gone on, with both starting to look more confident...but surely a win for Shibby! 3-1 on my card.

 

Next - Yamato Hata (3-0, 3) v Takuya Hashimoto (5-5, 5) - 6 rounds at 130lbs

Hata is a Teiken prospect with some expectations on his shoulders, Hashimoto has either stopped his foes or been stopped. 13 combines bouts between these two, but neither man has seen the final bell. Hashimoto averages 1.7 rounds a fight whilst Hata is 2.3 rounds a fight, expect this one to be bombs away!

 

Not sure on Hashimoto's walk in "music" just sounds like noise to me...
