2-Matsunaga on the front foot and Koshikawa being pushed back, and he turns it around sending Matsunaga backwards, Matsunaga back on the front foot with a flurry up top, body shot from Koshikawa, uppercut from Koshikawa snaps Matsunaga's head back but Matsunaga responds quickly, trading center ring and Koshikawa gets the better of it, lovely combination from Matsunaga, crowd on their feet at the bell

 

Koshikawa is cut, right eye- small but there

3-Matsunaga is very light on his feet, nice straight left from the champion, Koshikawa eats another, and another, Matsunaga making this his fight now, combination up top from Matsunaga, and another, the cut has worsened, Koshikawa trying to fight through adversity, Koshikawa taken to the doctor....fight goes on, he has marking around his left eye as well, huge left from Matsunaga, and a hook, Koshikawa's blood is smeared all over his face, another left from Matsunaga, he's unloading with Koshikawa on the ropes, ref looks ready to jump in, Koshikawa responds...

 

4-Koshikawa starting faster and pressing the action, Matsunaga forced onto the back foot, have a feeling it's now or never for Koshikawa, Matsunaga picking his shots well, Koshikawa marching forward, a big Matsunaga left, and another, a third, Koshikawa responds, Matsunaga with a flurry as Koshikawa is pinned on the ropes, Koshikawa fires back, huge lefts from Matsunaga, referee steos in and waves it off

Koshikawa didn't like the stoppage but in reality...this saves him to fight again another day...
