Begins like the previous round, as Chavez pushes Rubio back with an impressive burst. Going into the final 15 seconds of the first minute, and the two exchange viciously whilst Rubio is pushed back. But despite that, it was Chavez's head that I saw being snapped back. Rubio got the better, me thinks. Despite going back, he's looking stronger. Chavez showing a lot of courage, but he's getting caught a lot. He's getting the better of the final minute, and lands some great shots in the last 10 seconds. I think Chavez could have stole that right at the end, but I'm giving it to Rubio for his earlier work.

    8-3

Great round. Some vicious punches landed for Chavez. Left and right hooks as they trade down the stretch.

    9-2 Chavez.

Chavez wins the first minute with the heavier combos and pushing back. Rubio continues with his soft looking punches to try and ward Chavez off, but Chavez is really piling on the attack for the remainder of the second minute. Both guys sloppy in the last minute. Not really catching my eye with anything. Chavez's round for his early work.

    9-3 Chavez Jr
