Thats right. no way you can have 115-112. how the hell did somebody give Cotto the 4th round??? are they blind, and Cotto lost the 10th, he just landed a good punch at the end.

So how many of the last three rounds did you have for Cotto?

Yeah neither does sitting on the corner obsorbing punches help out. I think Atlas was right by saying Cotto had the Margarito incident in back of his mind and this fight sometimes resembled that fight he also said Clottey had opportunities in the fight but he just didnt take them. Clottey sure didnt act like a champion that night and Cotto won by default.

Maybe two but deffinitely not 3. Im not exactly sure what round but I believe Cotto was taking alot of damage in the 10 or 11th and put him on his bicycle for a while.

Ok we are 1 round apart cause you gave Cotto 2 rounds and I gave him 3 rounds and that makes me a nuthugger yeah that makes sense.

you really should check the facts try boxrec how to score a fight!
judges can score rounds with neither fighter winning which incurs a score of 10-10 in other words a draw for that particular round :patsch:rofl

I find it strange that alot of posters have a clear winner in every single round, I personally found this a very difficult fight to score and could have had maybe 3 of the rounds as a draw. 10-10

I thought that Cotto won the fourth and I think the 10th round was pretty even and went with Cotto because I thought he got the better of the final exchange to punctuate the round.

There are 9-9 rounds. I never heard of 10-10 rounds.

Clottey lost the fight period... I scored it 115 113 for Cotto... It was a hard fight to score because it was a very controversial fight. All Clottey did was cry like a girl and he was doing nothing.. If it wouldn't have been for the cut.. I think he would have been TKO'd

Clottey will never get KO, and who says Cotto wouldnt get a cut without a headbutt? he did take 190 punches to the face

Check "Boxrec encyclopedia" this will give you the full scoring system.
Have you never seen the pundits "unofficial scorecards" shown during the live broadcasts? 10-10 rounds are very common.
The only way i can see a 9-9 round happening is if both fighters had a point deducted for a rule break in an otherwise even round.

I did some research and I found a site that says that 10-10 are possible so you are right.

I don't however agree with the fact that they are very common. Even the article that I read said they are very uncommon.
