Re-watched Mayweather/Castillo 1....My Scorecard and thoughts.

I thought castillo won but this kind of fight will never happen again as Floyd has really grown into his weight classes and has developed more inside fighting tactics. Aside from guys who are much bigger than him I think he can take anyone if inside fighting is necessary. It's not his preference but he can do it.

Still ****in hate him though.

 

Castillo won this fight for sure. It was close but mayweather wasn't doing enough. I don't know how you could score so many rounds for floyd even though they were blatantly castillo's.

He won the 2nd fight tho.

 

I also think, Flolyd is a great inside fighter, and does better when he stands and fights. It's when he runs, that makes him look bad.

Anyone who had that fight one sided (either way) should shop for a new brain. Close fight....which also means, my dear bunch of Einsteins, that it was no robbery.

 

I watched it tonight and scored it 114-113 for Floyd. Really, it came down to me scoring the fifth round even and the eleventh for Floyd. Both of those decisions are hardly self-evident, thus I can see a draw or a Castillo win by a point as also being reasonable.

 

I had it a draw...Floyd was troubled by Castillo, as the second fight confirmed.

Castillo was a very good fighter...No shame in Floyd having a hard time..I just dont think he is as good as his huggers do, so I dont have the same expectations of him.

 

I am glad I did.
