If there's an even round, you score it even......if the judge has been instructed not to score even rounds, you differntiate and find something in the round that stands out.....it could be something intangible, or it can be a particular punch that the judge may have felt was the best shot of the round.

Scoring for the aggressor is something that can be done also......but that scenario just does'nt work for me when the boxer, in this case JMM, was'nt running.....
.....Pac may have come foward more, but Marquez was standing his ground and being just as aggressive if not more so by firing back aggressively with each Pac advance.

Now if a fighter is outright running as Leonard was against Hagler.......that certainly a scenario to wish to give the closer rounds to the aggressor which was Hagler.

If one refuses to score even rounds then score it to the agressor. The person who is coming forward.

that is another view...lederman scores that way

i gave it to the favored fighter...if the odds are extremely close, i gave it to the aggressor..

the posters here must realize that even rounds are a thing of the past..

they must find a difinitive way how to score rounds wherein both guys deserve 10 points...
