I picked up on that from the first sentence, my bull**** detector is fairly impeccable, glad to see it was spot on again.
2018 hasn't been that great of a year for Loma compared to 2017 or 2016. I feel like he easily qualified for fighter of the year in 2017 but this year he had only one tough win so far. When you factor in the knockdown and the fact the fight was so close,i don't think he should be p4p number one. You have to hold him to the same standards as guys like Floyd or Crawford neither of which have ever been floored by a lesser opponent
The score in that fight was close. But Linares got KO'd so it matters little in the end. Linares was #1 LW when Lomachenko jumped up and beat him so it is kind of a marvel.
Youre biased cause you dont want to lose this arguement. Im biased cause its Marquez. I'll bump a thread and we'll see what the consensus was with most unbiased posters
No, again Ward had been cutting BIG the dirty little mofo for years until his body could take no more and was forced into the 175lb division
Any chance of seeing the vid of him being bashed ?? I believe you, it would just be nice to view...How ****ed up can you get?? A bummer that goes round killing dogs AND you don't like Loma !
They weigh in 34 hours before the fight now. Everybody cuts big. The only three guys of the last decade who fight around their walk-around size have been May, Pac, and Rigo. That's about it.
Yeah, basically the only ones' who don't cut these days are the ones in their fourth or fifth weight classes. I don't think Marquez or Gonzalez cut much at their heaviest weight classes. Probably goes for Donaire at Bantam or super bantam too.
Ahhh, I was wondering how the only thread I've ever seen that's pro-Marquez on the subject got bumped! Now I see!
