Thats not an an accurate analogy at all Reg. That sounds more like the reff takin away a point for an unintentional headbutt without a warning or something similar. You can't really make comparisions between boxing and other proffessional sports, because boxing really isn't a sport. Nobody decides the outcome of a football game except for the teams on the field. In boxing, if u let it go to the judges, who the fuk knows what could happen. Thats why me likes fighters that take that decision away from the old impressionable *******s as often as possible. It sounds that way because you seemingly don't know what happened in that game. Let me explain. Basically, Miami was up by 6 in overtime and Ohio State had the ball deep in Miami territory and were down to their last play. If they scored a TD on that play, they win. If they didn't, they lose. Well, they threw a ball in the endzone and it was broken up. Miami players started celebrating as they thought the game was over. However, the ref made a very questionable pass interference call(and he made it very late at that). Ohio State got another play, they scored and they won. Now is this a 100% sound analogy? Of course not, but that's completely besides the point. The fact of the matter is, someone outside of players basically decided the outcome of the game based on a judgement call. The same thing happens in boxing were someone outside of the fighters decides the outcome. Fans are always going to disagree with officials. However, it's silly to try to revise history and make up your own results
