I would have thought the reason he's delayed it is because they might be having talks with Wlad and waiting on the Fury situation.

Well that is blatantly messing Parker around isn't it. He's mando that's been ordered to fight by January 9th the latest. If Joshua fights Wlad at the end of November that leaves more or less one month preparation time to fight Parker, which wouldn't happen.

Effectively he is keeping Parker in limbo and holding the belts hostage which is the worst thing a so called champion can do.

You would really begrudge him a dream fight against Wlad on the biggest stage, something that isn't guaranteed next year by any means with Wlad's career nearing it's end?

Parker isn't going anywhere, he would still be mando to AJ and another good win for him would just put the AJ/Parker fight on an even bigger platform.
Wlad on the other hand isn't guaranteed. It's all about timing and now is the right time to fight Wlad IMO.
His legacy hasn't been killed by the Fury loss by any means, but another loss or mediocre display (more likely) would make an AJ win over him seem less impressive.
Wlad is an aged fighter, chances are he does produce a very mediocre display in his next outing if he faces someone remotely dangerous and I don't think he'd want to fight another journeyman to look impressive against.
He's had a long and tough camp for Fury. Would be surprised he would want to do that all over again next year for AJ and he surely wants to avenge the Fury showing in a big way first time out.
He'd likely want AJ now and vice versa.

You are missing the point. Regardless of the timing, they do not deserve a unification title opportunity.

Joshua has had 17 professional fights, beating nothing but lowest kind of bums boxing is capable of producing. We're are talking about former failed NFL players doing last minute switches to boxing peddled out as legitimate opv worthy challenges to the IBF. Fat out of shape dumplings who would not look out of place in an clinically obese clinic, painted as fearsome threats to his reign, while he inevitably blasts them out like the slobs that that they.

The WBA should force him to fight Parker or strip him of the belt with immediate effect and no grounds for appeal. Him and fury are slowly turning this once great division into a circus with their political game playing.

This is no different to Khan ducking brook to fight canelo, if you are a true boxing fan then you can tell me this is acceptable conduct.

It would be ideal if winner of AJ v Parker to face Wlad next spring. But Wlad holds the cards to what happens. He's signed to fight in the UK on Nov 26th, been through a long tough camp which is something I'd be surprised he'd be eager to repeat next year. He wants to avenge the Fury loss and end his career on a high, cement his legacy in a big way.

If that's the case, I can't blame AJ for saying yes at all. Wlad right now is definitely beatable and AJ can beat him.

But ideally, yes winner of AJ v Parker to face Wlad next year. I just think Wlad is putting pressure on Hearns etc to fight Joshua now. AJ is getting more dangerous with each fight and Wlad getting more beatable at the same time. This would likely be his last fight.

Parker is an easy defence for Joshua I don't understand where he gets this world beater image from

Parker and his team are not even in such a rush to fight AJ in November. They will be perfectly happy to get their shot early next year.

New to the forum. If Tyson fury is stripped of wbo title, Parker is also ranked number 1 with wbo, this could mean that he could have the choice of fighting for wbo or ibf?

Vlad has always taken care of his health, he is a very young 40, he made Joshua look like nothing when they sparred, if Vlad is 50% of his old self, he would outbox Joshua, probably knock him out.................the Vlad that was training for Fury would do it too...............Fury knew he would get knocked out................
