im not talking about the scales per se.

im talking about, pre-fight (weeks prior to the fight) and fight night weight arent official, unless specifically agreed in the contract which im not sure this is even allowed.

there is no representative from both sides, most likely no rep from sanctioning bodies or the commission itself.

was the guy weighed with shoes on, was he in shorts, was he wearing robes/ shirts, jewelries, gloves on or no gloves. was the guy on full stomach, fully warmed up.

these weights can be manipulated or controlled depending on what kind of aura you want to project.

you can project something totally different from what youre doing/training in camp just coming at a certain weight alone.

or outright refuse to hide whatever the plan you have.

you can not make an argument about unofficial data that can easily be manipulated or worse denied (all assumptions).

this will only lead to inaccurate or invalid conclusions.

If he didn't have hand issues I think he could do decent at 160 but I think he should really just stay at 147

With a pretty small MW Champion like Martinez the opportunity is there for a WW to grab some gold, May not ever jumping on it is certainly a telling sign. We know Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Armstrong, or Robinson would have been all over that. ;)

Weight divisons were created for a reason . There not just there for the hell of it .

Floyd is slick and fast , but i very much doubt he can withstand a flush punch from a legit MW .

Lets remember a 38 year old Shane nearly ended their fight after just hitting him once .

Floyd would lose at 160. Come on, are we really asking him to do this? maybe a low 160 fighter but not an elite 160 guy, mayweather is just too small.

not entirely accurate, only his 154 fights and certain 147 fights like ortiz fight he has had that type of disadvantage - canelo held less than a 15lb pound advantage on fight night, 160 fighters weigh in 170+ so he would have much more of a disadvantage.
