I've talked about guys pre '80's my entire life, what else can I say about them? I would love to just talk about the last 30 years for a while... or even just the last 20.

I have respect for all the greats just get tired of discussing guys we can barely see on film or maybe even not at all, I'm bored with it, 30+ years of it is enough.

I like watching clear fights in color, don't you? I've seen "the long count" a million times. I've seen all of Ali's 100 times each.

I understand what you're saying, but in all honesty, don't we talk plenty about the guys of the last 30 years like Tyson, Holmes, Holyfield, Lewis, etc?

There are a fair amount of 80s to present day threads at times.

way too much focus on the heavies in here is my main complain.got nothing against them, but sometimes nearly three quarters of the first page or active threads are solely heavies.

I guess it's like those that listen to the same five to ten bands their whole life, some are just content to talk about the same handful of fighters over and over.

atberry needs to retire his frankenfrank alias as well.

I've been grossly disappointed, overall, at the efforts of America, in terms of sitcoms, since M*A*S*H. M*A*S*H shits on essentially everything else and there are few noteworthy ones since. They should rip every ****ing episode of Friends and Full House off the air and play M*A*S*H instead. The IQ of your average American would probably increase by ten-fifteen points, being forced to think, feel complex feelings and laugh at the same time, which expands a human being's intellectual capacity. Bollocks to 97% of American sitcoms since M*A*S*H.

I used to work with a guy who was with the original unit in Korea that M*A*S*H was based on, so I'm hopelessly biased against the commercial franchise.

    Absolutely not. :D

The cats from the 1980s to mid 1990s are just too real, too hard & too skilled, in full color, to cease talking about.
