Reason Why Pacquaio vs JMM Is Considered So Controversial

I just finished reviewing both fights from an unbiased point of view and IMHO i feel that Pacman won both fights by close decisions, but the reason that he won both fights are what makes it seem that JMM got the shaft.

The reason being that the KNOCKDOWNS ARE WHAT COST JMM BOTH FIGHTS!!! In the first fight if he gets knockdown one time less, then you then have an argument and if he doesn't get knockdown in the second fight then I still have him losing by 1 point (with rounds 8 & 12 being very close).

I think the first fight was a close manny win and i thought the second fight at the worst should have been a draw with the knockdowns costing JMM dearly. I had it 6 rounds a piece in the 1st fight and 7-5 for Manny in the second

Why not find an old thread about it?

Rehash it and see if you can get actual educated posters to contribute to the thread, instead of the *******ed opinions that are sure to come?

Nothing but *******s come into threads like this which are done what seems like every couple of days.

No controversial here.. only JMM huggers made it. Unfortunately the "best excuse" to JMM lossed was not yet discovered, so whinning will always continue.

those legit KD (exclude the rope clinging) is not an insurance to win a fight, but for a boxer w/ JMM caliber, its a total lifetime embarassment and unforgivable. thats why he always acted like a baby.

That's what it's suppose to be. 2-0 for PACQUIAO. Only fools believe PACQUIAO being schooled. Because if schooling really took place, it's should have resulted into a UNANIMOUS DECISION for JMM. PACQUIAO took some beating too, undeniably, but not enough to knock him down or lose. But JMM can rest in peace because he's the only one that came close to winning against PACQUIAO, if only he can avoid not getting knocked down with his feet in the air. CASE CLOSED! :hat

Alright, the fact that you believe knockdowns = win demonstrates that you don't understand how fight scoring goes. I'm glad you showed this sooner rather than later. Will save me time debating.

I'm not arguing about the actual scoring of the fights here, just you clearly do not know how it works.
