It's almost as big a myth as Adrien Broner's 'Next Mayweather' credentials. Whyte is one of the most petulant whiners in the sport. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, it's coming.
People have short memories of Whyte. He’s made a career under Hearn feeding him fighters and getting lucky nods. A video trending of Whyte laughing at Wilder Saying ‘He got beat up so bad’ before bursting into hysteric laughter. Same Dillain Whyte who got battered pillar to post by AJ and other than landing one left hook, had 0 success in the fight and got battered himself. He was beaten by Del in the first fight. Was very lucky bs Parker ( Parker beats him in a rematch) Serious trouble against Rivas. Soon as Shyte meets AJ, Fury or Usyk he gets flattened again. I personally want the Wilder fight, Whyte be spark out on his back at some point.
I'd just watched it again, I'd scored it: 1. 9 -10 2. 10 - 9 3. 9 - 10 (close) 4. 10 - 9 (close) 5. 9 -10 6. 10 - 9 7 10 - 9 8. 9 - 10 (close) 9. 10 - 9 10. 10 - 9 (close) 11 10 - 9 12. 10 -9 116 - 112 win for Whyte. Whyte was counter punching well all fight landing the crisper and cleaner punches. Whyte won the clearer rounds and really took over from round 9 onwards.
I'd love Hearn to feed Whyte to Usyk but there's no chance of that happening before Whyte gets his WBC shot
Del Boy showed why Whyte will never be world champion. I hate all the Whyte is hard done to and a warrior nonsense as it just isn't true, its just Matchroom bollocks.
Absolutely. Don't get me wrong, he's game and a decent fighter. However, he's getting paid millions for fighting average fighters. We're being told that struggling with Chisora twice, hanging on for dear life v Parker and being heavily knocked down en route to beating Rivas is some badass resume. Hard done by? I'd say he's one of the most fortunate fighters in the game. As ever, great promotion by matchroom.
Can you recall a HW who hadn't earned a title shot having a better resume than beating Parker, Rivas, Chisora x 2 and Helenius? It's clearly the best resume in the divison after AJ and Fury.
He was offered a shot and turned it down. Your post has just reminded me of Kownacki-Helenius and oh my god I miss this absolutely ridiculous sport so bad.
Yes he turned down AJ so he cant complain about not getting a title shot against AJ although he can complain about not getting his deserved WBC shot. Nonetheless my point was he clearly has the best resume in the divison after AJ and Fury.
In a division full of **** poor resume's. He'll get his shot if he doesn't drop the ball which he may because he's vulnerable. If he's good enough to be a champion he'll become a champion in 2021 but he's not good enough so he may enjoy his PPV riches while he can. Only a matter of time before he's KO'd or schooled and the casuals may lose interest.
I had the first fight for Chisora by 1 point. It was extremely close. I wouldn’t call it a robbery or anything like that.

Whyte complains he’s hard done by and loves maximum violence but... - already has his soul detached from his body by aj - should have lost chisora 1. General consensus is a draw at best - should have lost 2. Chisora was winning, points were taken, chisora probably thinking he was the B side and gonna get stiffed again, went running face first into a whyte shot. - parker, bogus headbutt knockdown, enough said. - can’t get rid of out of shape Dave Allen - beats injured helenius. Wouldn’t mind a rerun to see if whyte is so much better or if helenius is finally over his shoulder. - squeezes by Rivas who’s only win is sparring partner Jennings. - REJECTS fighting AJ, Ruiz takes it, history made. - loses 3/4 rounds v wach in a 10 rounder - wouldn’t be surprised if povetkin beats him.
