"Oh NAZ was a better fighter when he was younger deep de derp derp..." Guess what tranny paul?so was FLOYD!! Damn you're too easy!
mab fought the most defensibly responsible fight of his career against hammed, gave his punching more respect than he did morales. im looking at a green, aggressive and inexperienced floyd facing a guy who is awkward, fast and has heavy hands. i just dont think it would be a blowout.
We would have to track FLOYD back to his days before he was able to top Chicanito then, where he was at his greenest.. maybe a 17-0 Floyd against a 35-0 hamed, I would say has a chance.. The Floyd that destroyed Corrales 3 months before Naz got humiliated by MAB, would destroy little hamed imo.
chicanito was done when he fought floyd, he knew it, thats why he retired. good win for a green floyd, but way overrated by flowmoes. corrales starved himself while awaiting prison and divorce in order to fight floyd. not looking for things to stack against floyd, just telling the reality of the situations and what that ultimately means. both good wins, but lets get some perspective.
Calling a one loss 32 year old fighter done, is a little hazy. Was A 32 year old MAB over the hill, when PAC beat him too? we should put that into perspective as well.
I agree, I don't like Hamed much but Mayweather was no MAB, Mayweather would have been undone by the flying carpet and corkscrew uppercut.
Man Maidana gave him a vicious beat down, Maidana the One dimensional brawler who Khan safely negated and outboxed for 11 rounds. Floyd didn't know what the hell to do, he was literally destroyed in that fight. So much for his ring IQ then. I do give him the rematch but like Castillo said, once you soundly beat Floyd and lose the decision it makes a rematch harder to be motivated for. I feel for Maidana as first fight he really put a beating down on Floyd, had to give him at least 9 rounds, Floyd was so badly exposed in that fight.
how is it hazy when the guy decided it was time to stop fighting? mab probably was too past prime to compete at those levels when he fought pac. jmm had just beat him and he never had a notable win after.
If that had been any other fighter than Floyd that night, he would have had a few more fights before running into Floyd.. That speed and timing of Floyd, is what convinced him to hang em up.. he couldn't compete with that. And about Barerra, he still had a prosperous career after Pac.. he had been on a great run, beating Juarez, Ayala, Peden, ect.. And should have gotten the nod in the JMM fight imo. He also did better in the Pac rematch than he did in the first fight where he was a big favorite to win. You know?
thats another thing i find ridiculous in floyds fans perspective. the idea that floyd hands out career ending beatings. i thought you were talking bout the rematch the whole time, thats why i mentioned jmm. i dont see how mab 1 can even be compared to hernandez when he fought floyd.
