    spelling and grammar count?
this was a robbery. bad? worst? a robbery is what it is. they are all the worst. what i take hombrage with is you saying "none of us in the boxing world saw it coming"
speak for yourself. i knew it was going the distance and at -200favorite alot of other people knew it would too.
i didn't choose to bet on who would win the fight, because i knew malignaggi was speaking the truth before the fight.
all i can say is "say it ain't so"

No, not really. It's only the extra wide scorecard that warrants some uproar but even that's fairly commonplace.

Once again, no, not really. Paulie would like to fight in a similar style as PBF but PBF's skills are more refined and he can actually punch. PBF is also a smarter fighter with MUCH greater defense who can stick to a game plan. Paulie pretty much thinks PBF is God anyway and you can see the different outcomes when "God" faces Hatton and Malignaggi faces Hatton. I rest my case.

Now this I can ride w/. 118-110 is a little disheartening and discouraging.

LOL. Really? I don't think we think that when there's a mountain of evidence to the contrary. That's why we have well-known and used phrases like "hometown decision" in boxing and fighters want to fight in "neutral" territory. Hell, that's why, as you said, Paulie took issue w/ the officials before the fight occurred. I don't think any of us make any illusions that boxing is a fair sport. As far as us "starting" to see it's not. We're not starting. We've been seeing it. Boxing has centuries plus old tradition w/ corruption. There's been unsavory characters associated with boxing from the beginning.

No, not really. We've seen poor decisions there too. There's just way less rounds so the margin is a whole lot less controversial. People migrate to MMA for the same reason they watch boxing, they want to see violence w/ some semblance of order.

This is probably his greatest asset. See Malignaggi v Cotto for evidence.

No discredit to Diaz, neither could Cotto.

Unfortunately this will not be the case as Paulie does not possess enough firepower to make this happen. Even Pea and Mayweather packed a punch. It is essential to drum up interest in the fight game.
