I personally thought Froch edged the fight. That's just me. I understand the frustration that Dirrell and Dirrell's fans are going through as it was a close fight, but in all honesty, that guy has the skills to make it in the game, he will be a champion one day, no doubt about it. Being an Englishman, I support Froch, but I'm not a professional judge - maybe he did get the hometown decision. If so, Dirrell's fans will get redemtion when Froch faces Kessler, because personally, I don't think he will drag Kessler into a slugging match. I think Kessler will hurt him and take his 0.
I had Dirrell by a point, but there were so few good punches landed that scoring this off tv seems like a joke to me - seriously, how much are we missing? I'm not watching it again to see what I missed. Either guy could have won and I wouldn't really care - Dirrell didn't want it and Froch wasn't good enough to take it. It's just too bad Dirrell is in this at this point. A few more fights (a Miranda fight?) and he may have been sorted through.
