Of course he has the tools to fight differently. The real question is, does he have the maturity to stop being a childish little ***** and actually take his job and his opponents seriously?

He got his ass beat. Why does he deserve a rematch? because he was everyone's overhyped P4P clown? Maidana has bigger better fights to make than go fight a guy he beat the living day lights out of. F***er didnt know where he was by the end of that.

The tools to fight differently? Probably.
The tools to fight much better? Probably not.

Because he was the champion. Generally the champ has a rematch clause.

It's hard to say. He's probably been walking guys down his entire life because it's always worked. Well, at the highest level, he had a rude awakening. He has the tools to box from the outside but can he actually do it and change what he's been doing his entire life?

No. WYSIWYG. For the self styled successor to Pretty Boy he is shockingly bereft of versatility.

...until Maidana (or anyone comparably powerful, disinclined to respect Broner, and given to unconventional and difficult to predict angles of attack) says "the hell with just walking straight onto your counters, I'm flying at you from over here now with a big fat hook on the dome.

Broner's little pea brain can not compute that in time for any sort of adjustment. He gets hit. Then it's deer in the headlights all over again.

He makes it look easy keeping distance and counter punching only when the opponent does what he expects of them. :deal

I watched round 3, Maidana clearly won it:patsch

IMO, no, he won't do any better in the rematch. He may even do worse if his confidence has been rocked.

I said this before the Maidana fight, and I'll say it again:
Anyone with a good chin and decent power walks Broner down at 147.

If he doesn't learn to move and let his hands go I could see him getting stopped his next fight, even against an "easy" opponent like a Soto Karass type guy. Especially now that El Chino has taken his soul.

    :rofl

So your prediction: retirement match (perhaps an Eloy Perez rematch?) and then fat, fat, fat?

Yes, Eloy Perez is about right. Can't do a Quintero level guy. Too risky at this point. Health is more important. Don't wanna be walking with a limp or bent over, he'd rather they take it all back...

For the record I think Prince Eloy is a fine little fighter down at his natural weight class (not elite but titlist level, though even down there he isn't really a puncher) - just waaaaaay too small for Broner.

Nope, never seen him fight differently and don't think he knows how. Keep in mind he had a ton of amateur fights and no international experience...sounds like a kid who was built up beating on no-hopers and it carried over to the pros.
