    Renaldo Snipes vs Sonny Liston, both prime. The Snipes who decked WBC Champion Larry Holmes in Nov 1981 meets a prime Liston.

    As Liston walks up the ring steps, he slips and falls and hurts his back as the steps were freshly mopped by the janitor who forgot to put up a slippery when wet sign. Thus, Liston loses via DQ

    Prime Sonny Liston only lost to one person................Hell, post prime Sonny Liston only lost to one person. I can't imagine a scenario where Snipes outboxes or bangs with Liston and wins.

    Snipes was a good,solid fighter but Sonny of course is an ATG.Routine victory for the great Liston.

    Liston with ease. He also doesn't hit the canvas like the supposed H2H God, Snipes actually fought.

    A fun fight.

    I am going to go with my man Liston here. Far too much class.

    I think Liston will trouble Renaldo with the jab and hunt him down. Renaldo cannot afford to get hit as much with Sonny like he did with Larry Holmes so he will probably get on his bike like Machen did.

    This is IMO peak Snipes. Peak Liston is before the Ali fight. I don't see how this fight could end other than Liston winning.
    Liston wins by KO or TKO until rounds 6-8 at the latest.

    Liston by shutout. But it wouldn't surprise me if Renaldo snuck in a good right or two, not that they would have bothered Sonny, but still.

    Liston was both too powerful and too good a boxer. Snipers does his weird, bozo-nic thing and dupes out a few extra rounds.

    He gets beat all over the ring in the end.

    Liston TKO in 8.
