Can Rendall Munroe really become a sbw world champion?? Does he get the recognition he deserves? I think hes had an amazing 18 months yet hes still off the radar outside of hardcore boxing fans...:huh
rendall wants the big fightd he doesnt want to win a world title in a division thats lost its best fighters,, im sure he'd prefer to fight caberelo and juan ,, i dont think he would be out classed by these fighter s

If he gets his chance soon, while JML and Caballero are still hanging around at the weight, then I don't give him any chance. He can't hang with them two, and the other two champions (Poonsawat and Nishioka) have the stamina to match Munroe and pack a lot more power. I would say Munroe's main attributes are his workrate and reach, which are negated against the two "lesser" champions due to the fact that they can match that pace and can just walk through Munroe's punches because of Rendall's lack of power. Munroe's game is not to out-box someone, its basically to win on accumulation, and I just can't see him doing it against two pocket-rockets like Nishioka and Poosawat. If and when JML and Caballero do leave, then he stands more of a chance. Depends who he gets in a vacant title shot. I think if Molitor still has a good bit left he could outbox Munroe, then you have guys like Dunne and Cordoba. Munroe could win a vacant title in these circumstances, but he'd undoubtedly find himself in a hard fight. His lack of power allied with the lack of high quality technical boxing ability is a real hindrance when you think about him moving up a level.
Definitely. He could do well against a mid-level boxer type, preferably someone with poor stamina and not too much power, a guy he can stay on top of with his big frame and grind down, scooping a lot of the later rounds on his punch output to get a decision.
Not sure with Nishioka, Poonsewat, Caballero, Rigondeaux and possibley Hasagawa stepping up it is going to be difficult. His best chance would have been the fight with Dunne.
I think with the right match making he can become a world champ but when he meets a genuine world class fighter he will lose.
Munroe is so over-rated.He just does'nt have the power for world level which is surprising seeing as he is quite big for a super-bantam.However,he might get a shot at world level if he fights and beats Dunne.Perfect fight for both at this stage in their careers
