:rofl that was before i'd re-read the original post and all the others just saw the word yesterday and thought WTF? don't you take a slight preview before entering?
Depends what you're on about. I do usually read the whole thread title/paragraph before entering a comment, though. If it is something that is just a question in the thread title then I post straight away- case and point, the reaosn why I missed Dan's joke in the 'youtube idiots' thread.
great programme,have set to record the rest.:good:good where the hell did that channell come from??@@?
Right then so far, there was the bareknuckled episode last night, Jack Johnson/Joe Louis episode tonight and the La Motta/Robinson episode tomorrow. After that I can't find nothing. Anybody know if there's any more on. They dont seem to be on next week
Pretty disappointing that they only appear to be showing them at the end of this week. I think tomorrow's Robinson/la Motta episode was from series 2, and I think the first episode I saw. Even though it must have been 5 years ago now, I still remember how awesome that episode was. If you haven't seen the first two, make sure you watch tomorrow's on Yesterday:nut Really enjoyed the two episodes so far. Just wondering who that journalist dude was on the Dempsey/Tyson episode who "died shortly after this interview." Deleted it off the sky+ without it registering who it was. Thanks peeps.
That one on Joe Louis was brilliant, I had read about all of the racism against boxers in those days, but that documentary just gave a much more vivid perspective of how that penetrated wider society. Louis - Schmeling re-match and the whole global politics was riveting - brilliant documentary. Very sad the way the US government pedantically pursued Louis over taxes, after all he had done. *******s. *The Fight is on again today at 2pm on channel 537 (Yesterday), channel 538 at 3pm and 11pm on channel 538. Today's episode is about LaMotta/Sugar Ray Robinson and the mob corruption..
chris...thanks fella. i enjoyed that last night {even if the missus did try and spoil it by rabbiting away in the background}... i would have missed that...so thanks again. {i'm embarressed to say i didnt know jack johnson was helping the schmelling camp}
