    Jose Ribalta was pencilled in for a February 1990 rematch with Mike Tyson. But looked so bad against Jeff Sims on the Tyson/Williams undercard, DKP decided James Douglas (another victor on the undercard), would have a better chance of giving the Tokyo crowd value for money...

    Lower level stuff but I remember a guy named Eddie Sanchez or something won a shutout decision over JC Candelo (who was still a 154 top 10 contender at the time) on like a half hours notice.

    Isidro Garcia won the WBO Flyweight Title fighting on only an hour's worth of notice. He actually entered the ring wearing borrowed gear.
