Just seen Ali's tribute to the man:

Responding to the news of Cooper's death, Muhammad Ali said he was "at a loss for words" over the death of his friend.

"Henry always had a smile for me; a warm and embracing smile", he said. "It was always a pleasure being in Henry's company. I will miss my old friend. He was a great fighter and a gentleman."

Very kind words from Ali. Means something to get such a tribute from such a person like Ali.

Yes there's been quite a lot of confusion regarding facts and not just this and Khan. Barry McGuigan was on tv earlier talking of how Angelo Dundee got Ali a couple of extra minutes with the ripped glove. The BBC News bar had Henry as English, Commonwealth and European champion.

Anyway, I suppose that's trivial stuff at the moment. I hope Henry gets a worthy send off. The news of his death seems to have been overshadowed by other news today.

    Not by boxing fans though.
