all credit to kelly tonight, he is the man at 160, no doubt. but if he does decide in the near future to move up to 168, there is a danish guy, and a welsh guy that would both beat the absolute **** out of him. :deal but taking nothing away from him tonight, he showed real balls and got the job down in fine style.
I disagree. I still think he's only a tad better than he was as an amateur. Great fighters learn and improve after each fight. Taylor has only marginally improved. This fight will have taught Pavlik a lot more respect for defense. Whereas Pavlik punches straight and moves forward with punching weight...Taylor's wild swings are mostly while leaning back instead of driving forward. A great, exciting fight nonetheless. It's been a long time since 7 rounds went by in what seemed like a couple of minutes! Only 2 other fighters do that for me as well......Cotto & Hatton.
