so why was castillo knocked out of the rankings for losing and not winky?

    and what about juan diaz?

he was on most peoples lists, 1 loss and he is out but as for winky, a guy who has done **** since beat welterweight shane mosley and a welterweight tito is still in most peoples top ten.

Castillo went up 1 division and was promptly stopped in 4 rounds against a smaller fighter. Winky went up two divisions and dropped a decision to a legend. Also, Juan Diaz was never in Rafael's top 10.

David Haye is top 15. Whatever criteria you want to use, he just unified his division in devastating fashion, and is an excellent fighter.

Cory Spinks, has done what exactly? Got a gift against Karmazin, and gave Taylor a good fight.

imho, calzaghe at #2 is too high. sure, he's been a champ for 10 years but the person below him in that list is already a 4-weight and 3-time lineal champ. pac has also fought 8X (6-1-1) against elite fighters while calzaghe, 0. i don't think any p4p fighter deserves to be in the top 3 if he still hasn't won much less fought against an elite fighter in his career.

I agree with this and I would hope that any objective boxing fan would. I've had Floyd #1 for a long time, same as most everyone else. But you don't get to stay #1 just because you don't LOSE since becoming #1. Many people on here don't understand this.

Well ok, if he beats the BIG SHOW *convincingly* maybe I'll let him stay #1 even if Joe does destroy Hopkins.....:rofl

Hopkins at 43 is still a very tough fight. I mean there's a reason his only losses of recent memory were two VERY VERY close losses to Taylor.

Furthermore you gotta go on record...a win over an elite fighter in Mikkel and a win over a proven top name fighter in Hopkins is good enough for #2 IMO.

Add in his history of dominance and there ya go.....Enough for #2 for me.

And why is JMM so low on your list?
