I had to make this topic, cos today i had the displeasure of reading one of the most super-duper ******ed opinions shared on this forum of all time. These dumb Lewis-Haters really "don't know **** on boxing" as my Spanish cousin Foreman Gancho would say. Prepare to be shocked, amazed And disgusted -

So, let us discuss this statement of supreme stupidity -

    Lenny Lewis's Record -

    Jess Willard Record -

    Primo Carnera Record -

Have i embarrased you royally?

What exactly do Cavemen Carnera And Willard have on their shitty resumes to carry the jockstrap of Lewis's?? :huh

Lenny Lewis beat Holyfield X2 (ATG), Tyson (ATG), Vitali (ATG), Ruddock, Grant, Briggs, Mercer,,,

Willard beat a heat exhausted moldy corpse of Jack Johnson, who had been whooping his ass before his ancient age/dehydration got him. :deal Carnera beat a lightheavy called Loughran, but had to stamp on his foot And almost bloody break it, to cheat his way to a undeserved win. And Carnera was a MASTER at Gift-Decisions. :hey

Anyone who thinks Willard's resume or skills are as good as that of Lewis is so stupid that he's not even worth of having discussion with.

If a fighter dominates a definable era as Lewis did, then I will defend them against anybody who questions their greatness.

I like tommygunn, but I strongly disagree with that ridiculous statement.

I think that the only way Carnera & Willard remotely compare to Lewis is in physical size - nothing else.

Carnera gets a raw deal IMO. Certainly better on film than Willard, and would be top 5 today no probs.

I see what you mean. Willard and Carnera don't even compare. They were very tough dudes, but that's about it.

i agree in principle. but even if we hold that true, the resume discussion isn't really worth having

the thing i've come to respect about carnera is his jab, which was surprisingly good for such a clumsy ****

It´s fair to say that Tommy said that in the UNPOPULAR OPINION THREAD......we all have crazy statements in that thread..........with the purpose to be controversial.....
But of course even so that particular statement is shocking....especially because Willard......
