i dont know really but if hatton could connect on cotto with some of the shots he was getting on pauli.... he could potentially knock cotto out.. but on the other hand if floyd could knock hatton out... im sure cotto could as well
Who has PBF koed at 147? His ability to KO Hatton says more about Hatton's chin than it does about Mayweather power imo. Lazcano was able to hurt Hatton..... And that was at 140.
Collazo was a welterweight. And Id love to see the Judah fight more than any fight for Hatton at the minute, Judah hasnt KO'd anyone in 3 years, but obviously has power, I just think he lacks confidence and maybe a little past it now, I dont think his power would be an issue now. Judah then Pacman for me, thats who i want Hatton to fight next, i wont hold my breath though.
Hatton would be beat the living **** out of Zab Judah. I dont mind watching that fight either. :happy
Its not that simple though. Cotto likes to pick his shots and do his work in fits and starts, he doesn't like working at a strong pace. Thats where the fight would decided IMHO, who dictates the pace, can Cotto keep it slow with his precise combos or could Hatton make Cotto work for 3 minutes of a round?
Hatton beats Cotto at 140 Cotto beats Hatton at 147 At 140, Cotto simply does not have stamina to keep pace with Hatton
Luis Collazo hurt Hatton at least 3 times and he has no power whatsoever. Juan Urango put Hatton in cruise-and-hold mode with one body shot. Juan Lazcano had Hatton in trouble twice. Miguel Cotto would go to town on Hatton. Thread closed.
well, we already know the fight would take place at 147 and we have seen how hatton performed the 2 times he moved up in weight. i think cotto would knock hatton out.
I'll respond to the consecutive posts. Do you honestly think that Hatton could beat Cotto? Put your alliances aside and be objective. Allow me to repeat what I said. ONE body shot from Urango at 140 made Hatton close up shop and hold his way to victory. Just one. Last I checked, Cotto can crack to the body as good as anyone. Luis Collazo, a guy with absolutely no power had Hatton in all sorts of trouble. That fight should have ,at the very least, a draw. Hatton didn't do enough to take Collazo's belt but HBO had to save face with Hatton's American debut. Lazcano (shoelaces) Every punch that Cotto throws hurts. He loses one fight and he's suddenly an afterthought. Cotto would destroy Hatton. Thread closed once again.
