Cottos a very good figher, one loss doesn't affect that but the fact remains he's doesn't like fighting at a decent tempo. Thats not just me being a wiseguy after the Margo fight, Cotto has NEVER liked working under pressure and Hatton, for all his faults, brings pressure and makes the opponent work. Do we have to do this "thread open" thing again?
Just go with the other guy who said that Cotto wins at 147 and Hatton wins at 140 (I don't agree but I don't want to argue). Lesser fighters have hurt Hatton at both weights. Cotto hurts you with almost every punch, which is exactly why it took a freak of nature like Margarito to finally beat him and even Margarito himself had to take major league punches in the early rounds to get to the later stages where he cranked it up.
Cotto knocks Hatton out. I think Hatton would be competitive for a few round before Cotto takes over & dominates. The only time I think Hatton would have ever beat Cotto was when he was still green at 140.
I'd say it was just before he moved up to 147. I also fully agree with Gazoc's comments on how Cotto is affected by pressure and high tempo.
GAzprom equating Fatton equally to Margorito...guess Fatton wins that one too (man, you overly patriotic sensors have blinded you more than jerking to photos of Jade).
Whats stupid about someone saying that he thinks a world class elite fighter could beat another world class elite fighter:huh Whats is stupid, is the people that think its stupid for someone to think different then them.:good
Cotto beats Hatton like a stepchild at any weight. I can't see how people debate this mismatch. Cotto is an excellent prizefighter, with true craft and excellent boxing ability.
