I wish I could make someone wear that as an avatar, when they lose a bet.

    Just kidding, I couldn't resist.

GSP is a fine pick for a sports idol. he is truly a amazing athlete as well as being humble, well spoken and kind. he is pure class(except for the little hughes thing:yep ) and should be looked up to by everyone IMO.

    which Hughes thing?
GSP always tried to be kind with him and respectful, but Hughes was always a jackass to GSP. He clearly showed it in the 4th season of The Ultimate Fighter.
He must regret it that he said : You want that I teach you the defence of the armbar:lol:
    Karma is a *****

He's referring to the "I'm not impressed by your performance" thing

Which in itself was soo out of character for GSP. I'm sure the UFC told him to go in there and hype the fight, he got the mic and said the first thing that came to mind. He then went back to Hughes's dressing room to apologize to him. Hughes was then an dick and made fun of him for apologizing, said he was like a "10 yr old coming to apologize" --- GSP then proceeded to ruin Matt Hughes's career and embarrass him and beat his ass at his own game :yep

Rampage won that fight, Griffin was given the decision because Rampage is a global MMA star, Dana white wanted to promote the UF and UF stars so hes got another big name at the UFC brand.

Dana has nothing to do with who wins the fights, the state of Nevada decided who won that fight.

Thank you I love how everyone thinks Dana and the UFC are corrupt and trying to fix everything no this isnt Don King and Bob Arum or Gary Shaw.

i scored the fight 3-2 to Rampage the only thing i remember Griffin doing was that leg kick, i remember my friend saying the fight will go to Griffin because Dana White wants to promote their own fighters, all of the UFC's best fighters have come from Pride the UFC doesnt have too much of its own talent.....so the company is trying to promote UF fighters.

next thing Dana White came into the ring with a stupid grin on his face.... and gave the belt to Griffin...

You're an idiot, Dana white does not chose who wins fights, how many ****ing times does that have to be explained to you?

Not to mention Dana didn't exactly hate having Rampage as the champ, he is an incredibly popular fighter, and brings in the young black male demographic.

The UFC gave Rampage a ton of media exposure, put him on interviews on tv, radio, really pushed his publicity hard.

BJ Penn - not from pride
    GSP - not from pride
Anderson Silva - left pride 4 years ago, fought for Cage Rage and Rumble on the Rock
Forrest, Rashad, Machida, Thiago Silva - not from Pride
    Couture - not from Pride

Rashad a UF competitor will get promoted more than any other fighter.
Henderson and Lidell are ex pride, so is Shogun, cro cop, etc

your missing the point, the UFC does promote marketable fighter over talent, Coture is the perfect example, the UFc make him out to be the greatest ever heavyweight, now they are promoting Lesner, neither gihters are as good as Nougiera but they are what sells. people know the UF champions and the UFC promotes them, and to get back to the UFC fighters you mentioned

    Sherk is finished
    frankiln, Alves is good
    GSP and Penn are awsome.

it makes sense for the company to promote new talent, but i think this cost rampage his title.

You might just be the dumbest mother****er on this board.

    Sherk is finished?
Is that why he just beat one of the best up and coming Lightweights in the world?

You are a ****ing moron. First you say Angle is better on the ground than Nog, then you say Sherk is finished, what dumb ****ing thing will you rattle off next?

Liddell is ex Pride? Because he fought 3 fights there as a UFC representative? You are dangerously stupid.
