No proof, though every time PBf was asked about PW? he didnt know who that was:-(

Yet, PW must fight his way back into relevancy.

Agreed, Cotto was still being effective and landing clean shots, even whilst fighting defensively. Just because he stopped fighting aggressively, people went nuts and claimed Mosley was clearly winning all the latter rounds. Not the case AT ALL. If people had seen more of Cotto, they would realise he has fought like this on multiple occasions.

    Exactly

Kellerman said Cotto was showing versatility he had never seen from him before. But Cotto showed the same versatility in fights with Pinto, Abdulaev, Malignaggi, and Maussa.

Just because Cotto starts fighting off the backfoot doesn't mean he's hurt.

That's the funny thing about Cotto. Anytime he's not playing aggressor, people seem to assume he's in some kind of trouble. I remember in the 2nd round of the Pinto fight there was an exchange of punches, then shortly afterwards Cotto started to fight off the backfoot. Lampley and Steward both were saying Pinto landed something that had Cotto thinking twice and even hurt him. Not even 30 seconds later Cotto drops Pinto with a counter left hook while fighting with his back against the ropes.

I know exactly what you're talking about and I was just going to post this before I saw this.

I'm not convinced Cotto was hurt against Mosley.

Cotto was previously known as some kind of a brawler. He beat a Boxer at his own game. That says a lot. He was even quicker than Mosley. I found that very impressive. Regarding to Quintana vs. Williams: Is not going to happen. They want to pay Williams more than Quintana. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT CRAP???? Total disrespect!!!!!! The man is the champion now and deserve his money. Give Quinatana what he deserve!!!!!!!

Dont say nobody. I remeber calling the quintana win on here months before the fight and surpisingly alot of esbers agreed with me back then. the boy has got some skills and I hope he gets a rematch with cotto some day. He has a nasty left to the body that he gets some leverage on too.
