Kessler was "stunned" and it was OK to stop the fight but Hatton was "hurt" and its not? Where exactly is this line in the sand you've drawn for a ref not to stop a fight to have a word with a boxer? "Very stunned", "slightly hurt", "very slightly hurt"?

If a shoe lace is untied it needs re doing, its infortunate that it happened when it did but the ref can't leave it and say, " I can't tie it up as your hurt, weather this storm and I'l do it":patsch

You do know that the ref didn't stop the action because of the shoe lace right? It was after he stopped the action and was about to let them fight again when he noticed the shoe lace and stopped the action further. And i believe Hatton even pointed down to his shoe laces. It wouldn't have shocked me one bit if someone in his corner untied his laces while the ref was talking to Lozano.

Considering he was in a neutral corner and had to walk over to his corner to have it tied back up this is highly unlikely :huh

OK, then scratch the "corner untied shoelace" theory.

There isn't a thing wrong with the OP pointing out his perspective. You seem like sensitive Hatton fan or something.

He stopped the action because Lazcano was pushing Hattons head down and hitting which is illegal. All this anti Hatton rubbish is getting very boring now, he's a very sucessful world class fighter, greatly loved by his fans, just get over it.

Ricky Hatton forced from home by Rude Fans: Hatton Speaks
    By Johnny Benz

Boxing Superstar Ricky Hatton is fed up with fans who show up at his doorstep. Over the last few years, Hatton's popularity has sky rocketed, making him one of the most recognizable sporting faces in all of the UK. His popularity has made some fans and curiosity seekers show up at his doorstep looking for autographs, conversation and to touch their hero if possible. Some go as far as to even peer into the window at Hatton's home. All of this makes it uncomfortable for Hatton who is now searching for a new place, one that offers more privacy.

Quoted in the UK Press, Hatton stated in regards to his present situation at home, stating: "I have a nice house but it's no mansion. It's on a normal street and anyone can walk up and knock on the door or come up and look through the windows ... and they do! There are a bunch of these ESB fans that are a real problem. One ***** who calls himself "ThePlugInBabies" actually stole my underwear off the bloody line. I know Calzaghe tells me he has the same problem with some of his fanatical fans ..."

Hatton added his new place will have more security and will be situated in the same neighborhood. "I'm looking for a new house in the same area. It will have a wall around it for a bit more security. And, "ThePlugInBabies" ya bloody poof quite stealing me shorts!" said Hatton.

    ----------------------
Poor dude ... security is such a problem from these out of control UK fan boys ... small wonder ESB always has ridiculous poll results, etc.

It's completely understandable that he would want to move to a more secure and private location.

I mean man, if i have people peeking into my windows and knocking on my door constantly because i'm famous and i live on a normal street with no private gates, i would want to move too. I guess that's why famous and rich people almost need to live in exclusive places. They have so much money and/or fame, they have to protect themselves.
