    What is wrong with you?

I literally said to you first mention of the injury during the fight was round 9.

I said I'd read the injury occurs in the third:, https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/klitschko-s-injury-hands-title-to-byrd-280635.html

I also said I think Byrd would have won or drawn at worst.

    Just stop being weird.

I have a very similar thought process to you regarding this. Byrd gets 0 credit for an amazing performance imo.

Vitali saying he had an injury after the fight is a totally different matter. You don't need to read anything because thats what he says in the post fight interview and you already knw that. So why not say Vitali claims he was injured

But remember the eye test? You saw no injury during that 9 round fight and neither did the commentary team who were sitting ringside.

Only a two-bit punk would give a winning fighter "0 credit"

Especially one that took the fight on a weeks notice and had literally zero game plan or preparation.

Oh but Vitali easily wins without the shoulder injury. Spare me the pity party

Chris Byrd was handicapped worse than Vitali having never seen footage of him box , having no time to prepare and being outweighed by 45 pounds

You don't apply the same pity excuses for Byrd that you do for Vitali.

So you give Vitali credit for losing while handicapped , while giving Byrd zero credit for winning while handicapped. You're a fraud

I don't think you fully register how bad that sort of rotator cuff injury is. You can have a slight tear, like Pacquiao against Mayweather, in which you still have full movement and can raise your arms above your head. Or you can have one like Vitali, in which you'll have very limited movement and will actually be in severe pain just from throwing with the opposite arm . It's worse than a broken hand or broken nose.

I had the injury and never got surgery. Two or three months out, I couldn't go skateboarding like normal bc the twisting around was painful. 6-9 months out, throwing a softball was painful so I wouldn't even warm up before games (I was on a team at the time). And I'd need to throw at a really careful angle because sidearming would be a nightmare. Fighting on the night of the injury would be a worst case scenario.

Severe pain is very clear to the naked eye. He wasn't in severe pain. The rematch clause would've been activated if he only lost because of injury but he chose to fight Timmo Hoffman shortly after instead.

Vitali did not resemble his fellow Ukrainian Lomachenhko when he demanded the Lopez rematch.
Unlike Loma , Vitali had a rematch clause over Byrd.

Soy boys quit on their stools against pillow puff punchers half their size

The man you have an obsessive hatred for fought and won fights with two broken hands , a broken jaw and a broken eye socket.

How can you see such injury? That's strange way to put Vitali downgraded.

I think the fight was competitive and I'm not sure if healthy Vitali would have won but stop using some ridiculous standards for him.

"Dominate"? I had Byrd winning rounds 3, 5, and 9. With 6 and 8 being swing rounds

To the first post, you said I lied about reading it, I showed you where I read it, therefore you lied by saying i lied.

For the second post, it clearly went entirely above your head. I assume you've been drinking.

You had it more one sided than I did tbf.

I had it 5-4 to Vitali, I gave Byrd 3,5,7,9

Can't believe you don't consider round 7 a Byrd round.

Vitali did have full movement though, he was still throwing the right hand and throwing it hard.

And if he injured it in round 3, like reported, he'd already fought 5 more rounds with the injury.

He injured the left shoulder. He was shooting arm punches from the hip with it. I imagine it got worse as the fight went on. I imagine it wasn’t pleasant to throw the right either.

It was hard watching the fight identifying which arm was injured tbh.

Like I said I'd favour him in a rematch, it's a shame he sent Wlad instead, that would have solved the debate.
